Students in the Teacher Preparation program at the Concord
Regional Technical Center attended the Educators Rising National
Conference and Competition in Orlando from June 21-26.
Pittsfield student, Stefne Ricci, competed in a competition
called Creative Lecture. Stefne had to prepare a TED Talk style
speech addressing the prompt, "What changes must our education
system make to change the odds for young people growing up in
poverty?" Stefne did an outstanding job and placed 2nd in the
nation! In addition to winning 2nd place in her competition,
Stefne attended workshops, listened to keynote speakers, and met
educational leaders such as Dr. Bettina Love and Mandy Manning,
National Teacher of the Year. Thanks to all of you who donated
to help Stefne attend this event. She represented NH with
excellence and professionalism. Congratulations, Stefne!
