On
Monday June 27, 2011, the members of the Nam Knights of America
Motorcycle Club repaired damage to the Police Memorial at the Epsom
Traffic Circle. The memorial dedicated to fallen Police Officers
Michael Briggs and Jeremy Charron was damaged when an allegedly
impaired driver drove up the middle of the monument tearing up
the lawn, and crashing into the granite foundation stone and
monument which is shaped like the State of New Hampshire. The White
Mountain Chapter of the Nam Knights MC has adopted the memorial
maintaining the flags and conducting several cleanups and mowing
over the summer. They also wanted to thank the Northeast
Garden Center in Chichester. According to Iron Mike Dempsey
the W.M.C. Chapter President Owner Mike Sergeant and the
staff at the Northeast Garden Center were a great help putting down
the new bark mulch after our spring cleanup this year. The White
Mountain Chapter also recently held a Police Memorial Week fund
raiser in Concord donating $2,300.00 to the New Hampshire State Law
Enforcement Memorial perpetual care fund. The Nam Knights of
America Motorcycle Club is a registered 501(C) non–profit
organization made up of Law Enforcement Officers and Honorably
Discharged Veterans of all eras. Their Mission is to support
the memories and families of Law Enforcement Officers and Veterans
who have paid the ultimate price for freedom in the defense of our
country and our communities.
