Barnstead Girl Scouts Earn Badges
The Barnstead Girl scout troop # 20887 would like to send a huge
THANK YOU to both Rustic Crust and Village Pizza of Pittsfield!
These girls were able to earn their make it and eat it badge along
with a pizza party badge!
The day started at Rustic Crust. We were given a tour of
their facility starting with how they make the dough and walking all
the way through until the final process of packaging! It was
amazing for the girls to see the entire process and how much work
goes into the pizzas from start to finish.
After our tour of Rustic Crust we all went over to Village
Pizza. While there, the owner Mike had the girls make their
own dough right from scratch. They added all the ingredients,
and then they were able to roll their own dough.
Of course being in such an environment is bound to make anyone
hungry… especially with all the wonderful smells wafting our
way while making the dough. Mike generously made several large
pizzas and fries for all the girls to eat.
Everyone had a blast! Thanks to Rustic Crust and Village
Pizza for not only helping us earn our badges but for also providing
the wonderful tours and the fantastic food! We appreciate all your
support in helping build team spirit and leadership within our
troop.
