Pittsfield Winter Fest Update
The
Parks and Recreation Commission is busy planning activities for
Winter Fest 2011 during Pittsfield February vacation, February 28-
March5. Candy Bar Bingo will be held during the week and on Saturday
afternoon this year. PYW will again sponsor a variety of activities
including snow tubing, Laser Tag, a Monarch’s hockey game, and a
dance for Middle-High School young adults, and Drop in times. The
bon fire and sledding is still being planned. We also have been in
contact with Magician B.J. Hickman in hopes of again offering a
carnival night on the Friday of that week. There may also be a
scavenger hunt. All activities are in the planning stage at this
point. If there is a group in town who would like to sponsor an
event, please contact the Recreation Commission. If you have a good
idea for new activities, please join us at the Town Hall on January
31 at 7:00 or contact the Parks and Recreation at the Town Website
or call and leave a message at 435-1850. Watch for the finalized
schedule in mid February for these fun town wide events.
