New Hampshire’s 100 Nights of Remembrance

You are cordially invited to the closing ceremonies of the “100 Nights of Remembrance” which will be taking place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2009.

Starting on May 31st and continuing every evening thereafter the 24 notes known as TAPS will be sounded, until that sad anniversary on September 11th. The sounding of TAPS is to honor all Veterans, both past and present. In addition we will honor the men and women Police Officers and Firefighters who don a uniform to protect us every day.
Most importantly we will sound TAPS for the many who are resting in this solemn place known as the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.

This year’s closing ceremony will commence at 6:00 PM with a procession into the cemetery. We look forward to having you join us for this moving ceremony.

Seating will be limited. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
