Cool Yule Concert
The Cool Yule Concert is scheduled for December 20 at 4:00
pm at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia.
Join saxophonist Tom Robinson and pianist
Noelle Beaudin as they perform Christmas music and seasonal pieces
from around the World. Travel musically from Europe to Japan to
South America and finish up in the good old USA. This will be an
afternoon of music, fun, snacks, and good cheer!
Tickets are $10, available at the door. The church is located
at 172 Pleasant Street in Laconia. Light refreshments will be
available.
Tom Robinson studied saxophone at Capital University in Columbus,
Ohio. where he received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. He
teaches jazz piano, saxophone and directs the jazz band for St.
Paul’s School in Concord, NH. He is a member of the Concord
Community Music School Musicians of Wall Street, and the
Plymouth State University faculty jazz quartet. He has a busy
performance schedule as a soloist, sideman, and as part of a trio
with drummer Tim Gilmore, and bassist John Hunter. The trio’s
recording Skylight features original music.
Noelle Beaudin studied piano performance
and composition at the Boston Conservatory of Music and performed
frequently in the Boston area before moving to France and the UK.
She now has a very busy studio and music summer camp in the Lakes
Region of New Hampshire and enjoys performing throughout New England
as a soloist or accompanist.
