October
Sale: During the month of October ladies and infants (0 - 24
months) clothing will be on sale at 50 % off.
Collections of food and clothing: With the change of seasons and
cold weather approaching, we are now collecting new or gently used
winter clothing including hats, mittens, scarves, coats, boots and
snow pants.
In
preparation for holiday food baskets, we will also be accepting
donations of non perishable items such as stuffing mix, cranberry
sauce, turkey gravy, canned vegetables and fruit, bottled juice,
sugar, coffee, cocoa, breakfast muffin mix, pickles, olives, cake
mixes, and frosting. Donations of money to purchase
butter/margarine, milk, eggs, fresh fruit, potatoes, and onions are
greatly appreciated. Turkeys or ham are the highlight of our
holiday baskets, thus a donation of a turkey or a ham would be a
most generous donation and greatly appreciated.
Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the Academy
building, the Year Round Library, and at the Pantry during open
hours. Monetary donations may be brought to the Pantry or mailed to
Post Office Box 16, Gilmanton, N. H. 03237.
