Letter to the Editor
I have lived in Gilmanton for 17 years and in New Hampshire for 35
years. I am a retired public school teacher. District 5 has two
State Representatives for the towns of Alton and Gilmanton. I want
to be one of those Representatives for our communities. I believe I
can bring a fresh perspective to the State House and will work to
find practical and balanced solutions for our challenges.
Communications with my constituents will be a top priority. I will
ask you to tell me what are your concerns and will keep you informed
of the work I am doing on your behalf. I will be an advocate for
Gilmanton and Alton.
New Hampshire’s laws should support a healthy growing middle class.
The closer we get to that goal, the better it will sustain our
economy and be for all families. It is important to strike the right
balance between finding sources of revenue that support our towns -
schools, municipal functions, farms and businesses - and reducing
the burden of high property taxes.
Gilmanton and Alton will do better when the voices of all
constituents are heard- women, men, Republicans, and Democrats. The
candidates for District 5 represent those diverse voices. My hope is
that District 5 will send to Concord a team that mirrors our
population. That opportunity is here with the 2014 election. We
have a chance to be exceptional.
I want to be a member of that team. I will appreciate your vote on
November 2nd.

Letter To The Editor
As a former Democrat, I did not care for the direction the party was
heading. Today, it is far worse than imagined. Have you noticed
that Democrat candidates running for office submit a letter to this
newspaper and beg you to vote for them? They promise that they will
do whatever it takes to steal your money to fund their socialist
programs and agendas, and want you to feel good about it. They lie
by attempting to tie Republican candidates to the Tea Party or the
Koch Brothers as a scare tactic. Do the Democrats really think we
are that naïve? (Liberal Republicans do the same thing.)
The vast majority of the 1% wealthy in America are Democrats, NOT
Republicans! The majority of CEO’s in corporations in America are
DEMOCRATS! The largest organizations that contribute to political
campaigns are DEMOCRAT owned.
Anyone with intelligence and morals knows that President Obama, nor
any member of his cabinet or heads of Federal agencies have yet to
tell us the truth on ANYTHING. Their lord and savior, Harry Reid has
withheld over 300 bills from reaching the Senate floor that would
help turn this economy around. Have the last six years of this
nonsense compelled you to run out and vote for this party to
continue this childish behavior? Do Democrats seriously think that
the readers of this publication or the citizens of New Hampshire are
as naïve or stupid as they hope we are?
Have you noticed that the incumbent Democrats have yet to declare
their pride in voting for ObamaCare? Instead, they attack their
opponents with foolish and vain accusations. I continue to ask how
Henry, Heath, Miskoe, Chase or Edwards can sleep at night, knowing
that they forcing their agenda on us. We are too smart to drink
their Kool-Aid.
