Letter To The Editor
Fellow Metrocast Cable TV subscribers. Did you know that NH Public
Television has an alternate channel that allows you to view some PBS
programs that are not available on Channels 11 or 2? It’s called the
Explore channel. There is also a World channel that carries PBS
programs, which Metrocast doesn’t carry. As it stands now, channels
2 and 11 carry the same programs at the same times. There seems to
be very little reason for that.
Please join me in asking Metrocast to let us view the
Explore and World channels. You can reach Metrocast online at
www.metrocastcablevision.com,
where they have a form to request a channel, or you can phone them
at 1-800-952-1001. I have done both, but they say not enough people
are requesting them. So there’s strength in numbers.
