Our America, Our Debt, Our Future
America’s national debt is currently $16 trillion and climbing.
Why do we have such massive debt? Because Congress has simply
spent more money than it receives in taxes. It’s no more
complicated than that. $6 trillion (almost 40%) of this
monstrous figure has come in the last 4 years under the Obama
administration, faster than ever before.
During this time, the Senate, under Democrat Harry Reid’s
leadership, has utterly abdicated it’s Constitutional duty to pass a
budget and instead, authorized multiple continuing resolutions to
continue spending at previous levels. In his last two budgets,
President Obama couldn’t even convince ultra-liberal Nancy Pelosi to
vote “aye” and received absolutely zero votes in both houses of
Congress.
Before I agree to raise taxes on anyone and give the addict another
fix, I want to see Congress (for several years) constrain its
spending and actually run a budget in the black.
Congressman Frank Guinta has supported over 30 job-creating bills
passed in the House but stalled in the Senate as Senator Reid
refuses to allow a vote on them. What better way to solve our
national debt crisis than creating jobs and stimulating the economy?
Frank Guinta cosponsored a bill calling for a balanced budget
amendment, serves on the House Budget Committee, and has extensive
executive experience as the former Mayor of Manchester. We
need proven leadership like this in Washington, lest Lady Liberty
end up dead very soon, in some dark, international alley, with a
needle in her arm.

In 2010 I ran for State Representative in District 6, Gilmanton. In
2012 the NH Legislature created a newly configured District 5, which
combines Gilmanton and Alton. Now, we will be voting for 2
candidates to represent this district. I am running to be one
of the 2 representatives for District 5 because I believe I can
bring a fresh perspective to the State House and will represent your
interests better than the other candidates.
I have resided in Gilmanton for over 15 years and have lived in New
Hampshire for 33 years. I am a retired public school teacher. I have
been an active member of my community and look forward to meeting my
constituents in Alton.
Like many of us, I have disliked the mean spirited behavior and
disrespectful tone of civic discourse in our legislature. I am
frustrated by the unwillingness of political extremists to work
together to pass legislation that is beneficial to the State.
Rather, we ended up with bills that did little to promote jobs, but
weakened our institutions and tried to restrict personal choice and
voters’ rights. Some of these bills were promoted by out of state
interests with national agendas.
I am a moderate who hopes to take good ideas from all sides and work
toward practical and balanced solutions to our problems.
Communication with my constituents will be a priority. I plan to
hold meetings to give me the opportunity to hear your concerns and
for you to understand the work I am doing on your behalf.
If I am elected, I will dedicate myself to working for the interests
of you and your family. Your vote will determine the direction our
State will take. I thank you for your consideration and ask
for your vote on November 6th.
