News From The Gilmanton Year-Round Library
Two of the antique cars that will be on display at the Gilmanton
Year-Round Library on Saturday, June 18th from 10 am until 3 pm.
The 2nd
annual Book and Plant sale with antique car display will be held on
Saturday, June 18th, from 10 am – 3 pm.
The GYRL
invites the young and old to this fun event. There’s something for
everyone! There will be a wonderful collection of antique cars parked on the
Library lawn. Owners of antique cars are welcome to bring their vehicles to
be part of the display. In addition, there will also be hardy annuals from a
local greenhouse at low wholesale prices and best selling, almost new books
for sale - $1.00 per hardback and $0.25 per paperback. The plants sold
out fast last year, so come early! For information please contact

Monday
Movie Matinee
June’s Matinee will be on Monday, June 27th, at 1:30 pm.
The Gilmanton Year-Round Library will be showing the witty, satirical farce
- “Nine to Five,” starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

Alexa Davis of
Gilmanton, NH has accepted membership in the National Society of Collegiate
Scholars (NSCS). Alexa will be honored during an Induction Convocation
this fall on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Membership in NSCS is by invitation only, and is based on grade point
average and class standing. Congratulations, Alexa.
The Gilmanton
and Gilmanton Iron Works Post Offices would like to thank all their
customers who generously donated to the May 14th Food Drive.
Approximately 200 pounds of non-perishable food items were collected and
donated to the food pantry.
