Teams from Gilford, Laconia, Sanbornton, and Gilmanton
competed in the 17th Annual Francoeur/Babcock Memorial All-Star Basketball
Tournament held at Gilford in February. The Gilmanton Youth Organization’s
(GYO) 3rd & 4th grade boy’s and girl’s all-star team won the double
elimination tournament for their division. This is the first time any
Gilmanton team has ever won a title since the tournament’s inception. Fourth
grader, Nathan Hudson, earned the prestigious Hustle Award and third grader,
Brendan Bushnell, earned the Sportsmanship Award. Front row (l to r),
