Letter
There is a letter in the paper this week that says “We need a new
State Representative in Gilmanton”. Why? The letter also states
that the person being supported is “not part of the problem, but part of the
solution”. The only problem that I see that needs to be addressed this
election is to stop the out of control spending and the failed policies that
have been instituted by Obama, Pelosi, Reed and the Democratic party.
Our country is on the wrong path and our freedoms are at stake. Dave
Russell has been a fine representative for Gilmanton and he has a solid
understanding of the community and has represented us for many years.
I fail to see why a change is needed. Dave has a long history in
serving this community.
This is a very critical election to stop the
Obama insanity. Deb Chase is a registered Democrat and supported Obama
and his failed agenda. She is a risk that I don’t believe we can
afford. Three trillion dollars in spending, a state budget that is out
of control, failed stimulus bills, big government, higher taxes, government
control of healthcare, government control of GM, on and on all brought to
you by Obama and the Democrats progressive agenda. I have had enough
and will make sure that my vote reflects that. Have you had enough?
I ask you to join me in supporting Dave Russell for State Representative for
Gilmanton.

Letter To The Editor
To the Editor:
It is time for new representation
for Gilmanton in Concord. Deb Chase is that person! She believes in
communication. Her recent letter to the town’s voters shows how she
will listen to our concerns and let us know what is going on in
Concord.
We really need someone who wants to meet with us and exchange
points of view. We need someone who believes in preserving our way of
life by protecting our farms and small businesses before they are taxed out
of existence. Deb Chase is just the person to change the direction of
our representation in Concord back to our community and
citizens. She is a tireless worker with an extraordinary record of
community service from education to children’s health and well-being to
historic preservation. She is the right person at the right time for
this job.
Deb has my vote on November 2nd, and I hope she has yours
also.

Letter
A vote for Deb Chase is a vote for the Democratic Agenda that has
been in place since the election of Obama. Deb Chase has supported
candidates, Kuster and Shea-Porter with campaign donations. She hosted
a house party for Carol Shea-Porter, and admits her party allegiance in an
interview during an Obama visit to NH.
From msnbc.com: “There’s an
excitement about somebody who has created a spark again,” said retired
teacher Deb Chase from Gilmanton, N.H. She was wearing an “Obama for
president 2008” button. “We were all big Dean supporters; there was all this
energy coming out from the Dean campaign… I think Obama has the same kind of
spark to him and helps people feel energized and excited about the
potential.”
Supporters indicate that Deb is not part of the “problem” but
part of the “solution” since she has never run for public office.
While she may not have held any public position, although she has
represented Teachers as a Member of Government Relations Board for NEA (the
teacher’s union).
So, if you want to see how a person may represent you
when they go to Concord, I say look at their current and prior associations,
that will tell you a lot about their values. A vote for this candidate
the current liberal/progressive agenda will destroy our country.
If
you do not like where we are at today - loss of jobs, stimulus, tax
and spend policies, please cast your vote to re-elect David Russell for
State Representative for Gilmanton. Dave has served our community well
for many years and he has the values that will get our country back on the
right track.

Letter To The Editor
Dear Editor,
New Hampshire has been so lucky for
the past 4 years since we have had Carol Shea-Porter as one of our
representatives in DC. She always stands up for the people from New
Hampshire. Whether it is through her protection of Social Security or her
commitment to job growth, she has been a strong voice for us. She also is a
strong supporter of the development of the Patients’ Bill of Rights laws,
which will help millions more gain access to affordable health care. This
law means that Insurance companies can no longer decide which doctor you see
and they cannot restrict you from receiving emergency room care. Preventive
care will now be provided for mammograms, colonoscopies, immunizations, and
pre-natal and new baby care. New Hampshire needs to vote for Carol and keep
her as one of our Reps in DC.

Letter To The Editor
We are enthusiastically supporting Deb Chase for
State Representative from Gilmanton. We have known her for many years
and can attest to her energy, commitment and passion for issues affecting
our community and New Hampshire. Her values are very clear and she is
refreshingly candid in expressing her point of view. She has the
unique ability to serve as a leader, yet listen carefully to the cares and
concerns of other people. Her style is to include others in making
decisions and to work toward a shared sense of purpose. She is articulate
and gives voice to members of the community who are in need of help.
She’s a great organizer. When she takes on a task, she gets it done quickly
and efficiently. These qualities will serve her well in Concord if she
is elected. She will strive to work with persons of all different
viewpoints to achieve common sense solutions. It’s time for a change
in Gilmanton. We need someone who will look out for us and fight for
our interests. Please join us in supporting Deb Chase on November 2nd.

Letter to Editor:
I am writing to support Paul Hodes, Carol Shea-Porter
and Annie McLane Kuster. We have all seen the daily onslaught of
political ads distorting their views and spreading misleading information
about the economy and legislation that has been enacted since Obama has been
elected President. The recession and healthcare are targeted.
The recession- the downturn was so severe that it is unrealistic to
expect that the economy would have significantly rebounded at this point in
the business cycle. That’s small solace for people who have lost their
jobs or who can’t find work. However, the actions taken by Congress to
save our banks and stimulate the economy were the right thing to do and are
beginning to take effect. The stock market is generally seen as a bell
weather for things to come, and it has risen substantially in the last
6-months. We are spending money again on goods and services.
Democratic tax proposals will reduce the Federal debt. The
unemployment rate is dropping. Private sector jobs are gaining.
Healthcare reform - we are rid of preconditions and lifetime payment
limitations and struggling families can insure their kids to the age of 26.
More work will be done to address the cost of healthcare.
Unfortunately, many vested interests are not interested in reform – they
like it just the way it is. But repealing healthcare reform as
suggested by Republicans will mean a return to the time when vast numbers of
Americans went without medical help. If this recession has taught us
anything, it is that people’s fortunes can be reversed overnight, and we are
all at risk of being without insurance if the Republicans have their way.
Please join me in voting for them on November 2.
