There will be a breakfast at the Gilmanton Community Church at Gilmanton
Corners on Sat., June 6, 2009, from 7 A.M. to 9:30 A.M., hosted by Karen
Meader. Proceeds to benefit Sarah Andrus, a sophomore at Gilford High, who
will be attending a pre-college summer art program at the New Hampshire
Institute of Art.
Gilmanton Old Home Day Art Show

Calling all local artists: Gilmanton Old Home Day will
be held Saturday, August 15, at Smith Meeting House as always! The art show
has four categories: paintings, graphics, art and Photography. Each artist
may exhibit three entries, not shown here before. They must be brought on
Thursday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and will be judged Friday, and open to
the public on Saturday, Old Home Day. They must be picked up by 4 p.m.
Saturday.
Entrance fee is $3.00 per painting or 3 for $8.00. Ribbons and cash
prizes are awarded for each category. This year the artist’s names will be
covered during judging.
The featured artist of the year will be announced at a later date.
Remember two dates: Old Home Day, August 15 and the day to bring entries
for the show, Thursday, August 13, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
