Friends Of The Library Formed At The Gilmanton Corner Public Library
The Friends of the Library Group was recently formed as we had so many
requests for such a group by our patrons. We will keep you posted as the
Group takes on further projects and efforts.
We are also announcing our telephone installation this past week, and we
can be reached at 267-6200 during the winter library hours of Wednesdays
3:00 to 5:00 and Saturdays 10:00 to noon. An answering service will also be
available.
December’s table displays are keeping with the Christmas spirit as you
peruse Mary Higgins Clark’s Christmas novels along with the Children of the
World Christmas books. While you peruse, you will be most comfortable when
you stop by to enjoy the warming fire of our stoves and the cozy ambience of
our historic building which most notably was once the Town’s cobbler shop.
Stop by to check out our new arrivals shelf that is growing in leaps and
bounds.
Those free museum passes are still available for a great fun trip during
your Christmas break.
Merry Christmas from all the volunteer staff!!!
