The Inn at Deerfield, a non-profit residence for people with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia, is looking for board members.  This volunteer board oversees and approves the policies, direction, and administration of The Inn.  In addition, board members represent the communities which surround The Inn, and help with fundraisers and public events.  The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per quarter.  If you are interested in being a part of this organization, please contact Kelly Adams, Executive Director, at [email protected].

Ivy Green Rebekah Lodge #36 is looking for pie donations for this year’s Old Home Day supper on Sat., August 12th, at Webster Park.

If you would like to donate, please call Vickie at 736-4707 or Jeanne at 736-9240. Double crust fruit pies (homemade or store bought) can be left at the small building by the Pavilion on Sat., August 12th. Thank you very much for your help!

Epsom Food Pantry

Well, I certainly have fallen down on my job of reporting the doings at the Food Pantry. Forgive me.  Things are going well.  One of our town folks, Karin Fudula, gifted us with some tomato plants which Nancy Heath planted up near the library so that insures us of some nice veggies for the members.

Speaking of Nancy, she certainly is one gifted lady when it comes to flowers. Lovely.

Also, a big round of applause for the manager of our Dollar General who sent us some great  food. And let us not forget the Werner ladies who gift us with a donation on a regular basis.  This is what makes our Pantry the success that it is. And of course I do not want to forget the Town Fathers who support us. We are grateful that we can use the Old Town Hall.  These old buildings need people in them. Makes them last  longer.

How are the gardens doing? We are looking forward to our veggies.

Stay safe.
Until next time,
Priscilla
