On Tuesday, November 3 at 6:30 PM the Epsom Public Library will be showing the movie “Love & Mercy.”  This film tells the story of Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson and the truth behind his mysterious disappearance from the stage.  It shows how Brian came under the control of his therapist until he met his wife and made his return to music.  The film contains some of his best musical masterpieces.  This movie is rated PG-13.  For more information, contact the library at 936-9920.

Epsom Food Pantry

Well, as you know, I missed last week’s edition, so it is very important that I  make this one.

People who are members of our Food Pantry must sign-up for their turkey so that Liz and Ken have a good count that must be in the Manchester Pantry where they come from by October 30th. Now we will be doing our baskets again for Thanksgiving and we do not want our members to be disappointed and not get a turkey. So make an effort to notify the Pantry so you can be in our count. Baskets will be handed out the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

And now to our needs: canned veggies, stuffing, pie crust mix, cake mixes, frosting mixes, and just about anything one would have for the holiday.  We want our children to share happiness, just like other kids.  Call me if you have any questions at 219-3025, or call the Pantry  and leave a message and Ken will get back to you.

As I always say, thanks for all your support. I am so proud of my townspeople. We have an outstanding Pantry and your help has made it the success it is.

Until next time,

Priscilla

Letter

To my constituents in Allenstown, Epsom, and Pittsfield,

One of the perks of being a state representative is that you get on a lot of mailing lists, both paper and email. Some of the messages are not for me, personally, but to pass on to my constituents. Here are two free events that might be helpful to some of you.

The NH Bar Association will be offering free, private legal consultations for homeowners that are in foreclosure, in danger of foreclosure or having problems with their mortgage. The consultations will be held on November 4th at the NH Bar Center, 2 Pillsbury Street, Lower Level in Concord and are open to homeowners of all income levels. For more information, or to register, call Vanessa Beauchesne at 715-3255.

Health Insurance Open Enrollment on the exchange begins November 1 for 2016. That means it’s time to assess and review your health insurance needs. To help consumers get covered and stay covered, certified Assisters are inviting the public to “Get Covered and Stay Covered Concord!” Healthcare Enrollment Day! on November 7. It will be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Concord, 55 Bradley Street from 9 AM to 1PM. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. To reserve a place for personal assistance, please call: 228-2830 Extension 175.

Interested readers can email me for my newsletter, with more details than fit here.
