Feathured Artisan At Valley Artisans, Epsom
The Featured Artisan at Valley Artisans in Epsom is decorative
painter Carol Bell of Hopkinton.
Carol has been a member of Valley Artisans for 7 seasons as a
decorative painter. She has been painting with acrylics for about 20
years.
Starting out with lessons from a local artist she has gone on to
discover her own style. Attending conventions and workshops has
given her an opportunity to learn new styles and techniques.
She especially enjoys working in acrylics because of the fast drying
times and the versatility. Specializing in painting on T-Shirts,
canvas tote bags and clay pots. She also enjoys painting on slate,
wood items and glass. Her newest item this year are the caps and
visors. So much fun to paint and wear.
You’ll find many of her items feature a feminine floral design but
can switch to whimsical or folkart style when the mood strikes. Love
of nature and pretty things, she tries to convey that in her work.
She is donating one of her hand painted t-shirts for the July
drawing. (the end)
Donna is an active member helping to work towards the mission of
providing a outlet for creative New Hampshire Artisans to market
their creations. Valley Artisans is always seeking New Hampshire
Artisans who make good quality and unique NH made Products.

Epsom Food Pantry
All is well at our Food Pantry. A new addition is our vacuum
cleaner and we are enjoying using it.
The Pantry is growing with a new family about every week. Another
generous donation from a club in town.
Some of our expenses are mileage for the men who pick up the USDA
food as well of the weekly trip to Manchester to pick up our
delivery. These donations are also appreciated to cover those costs
as well as our phone bill. Remember your fresh veggies if you have
an abundance when you crop comes in.
We like the children to have fresh food when it is possible. Again
many thanks for all your support.
Until next time, Priscilla
