Do You Believe? I Believe In Santa!!!!!
Secret Santa is once
again coming to the Town of Chichester. He is making a list and
checking it twice. Trying to find out who is naughty or nice.
Every child should enjoy
Christmas! The Chichester Police Association is proud to announce
again this year, they will be sponsoring “Secret Santa.” We will
start talking applications November 13, 2017 through December 15,
2017. We only take applications for Chichester residents. We try to
coordinate with other organizations in town so as not to leave
anyone out and not to duplicate efforts.
Secret Santa starts with
trying to meet the needs of those less fortunate for clothing needs,
boots, jackets, ski pants and the like and we also try to help with
heating needs and utilities. Then we get into the good stuff, like
toys.
Sorry to say, we no
longer take donated items of any kind, as we have no place to store
them. Fortunately we have been financially sound in the past to
allow continuation of this wonderful venture, and had an abundance
of volunteers to assist Santa with his tiring job.
Monetary donations are
always welcome, and volunteers to shop and wrap are always needed.
Checks should be made out to “Chichester Secret Santa.” Should you
have any questions or wish to volunteer, please call 798-4911, speak
with Chief Clarke or Donna. Wishing all a warm and heartfelt Merry
Christmas!
