The Pittsfield High School Class Of 1966 50th Class Reunion
will be held in the Pittsfield Congregational Church vestry on July
23rd from 3-6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. If you can

The Chichester Youth Association is accepting registrations for
Soccer. Forms were sent home through school for K-6th graders. The
form is also available on their website at
www.chichesteryouth.com. Registrations are due July 26, 2016.

The Historical Society will be hosting an
Open House at the Museum at 49 Main Street on Sunday, July 17th,
from 2-4 p.m. Two pictorial murals will be “unveiled” and will be
featured at the Open House. Refreshments will be provided.

The Chichester Grange Eat-Out will be on
July 20 at Makris Restaurant. Members are welcome to bring guests.

Heritage Commission on Thursday, July 21st, at 7 p.m. for Steve
Taylor’s presentation on “Poor Houses and Town Farms: The Hard Row
for Paupers.” This program will be held at the Grange Hall, 54 Main

As part of the Summer Reading Program
(SRP), Alex Braley will be demystifying magic by sharing some
magician’s tricks and also by talking about learning the craft—a not
so easy thing to do--this afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
Next week, the SRP gets down to the evidence, forensic evidence that
is. Entitled, “Read the Clues,” this program will fascinate
those who like the CSI programs and are interested in answering the
“who, what, when and where” of things by reading footprints,
fingerprints and other clues.
The Down Under Bookstore sale is this Saturday, July 16th, from 8
a.m.-1 p.m. Stock up on your summer reading and recycle your
books, dvds, cds, puzzles and games.
The Down Cellar Writers have scheduled their meeting for Monday,
July 18th, at 7 p.m. Local writers and poets are welcome to
join, and learn from, this group.
