Community Suppers are starting. September 9th, at 6:00 at the
Parish Hall, will be the first supper: Chicken Parmesan. There are
schedules at the Parish Hall for the rest of 2015. The suppers are
the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month. Donations are
gratefully accepted.
The Chichester Historical Society will hold a “Fall Harvest Fair” on
Sunday afternoon, September 20th, from 2 to 4 p.m. The fair will be
at the society’s museum, 49 Main St. Bring the family to take part
in making apple cider with an old-fashioned press, watch wool being
spun into yarn, make a corn husk doll, try a traditional old-time
craft, and decorate some pumpkins. There will be food and plenty of
time to visit our now exhibit “rooms” as well as enjoy conversation
with friends and neighbors. Please park in the Grange/Town Hall
parking lot across the street from the historical society building.
The Chichester Heritage Committee will meet on Thursday, September

Chichester is encouraged to attend.
The local Charrette Team is looking for granite and flat stones

mason will do the planter for free if we provide the stone. Call
Lucille at 798-5709 if you can help with this project.
Chichester Grange will meet on Wednesday, September 16, at 7 p.m.

1st Degree, so as not to lose the Grange heritage.

Natural Resources.

Out Of Your Attic Thrift Shop News
Submitted By Carol Hendee
I want to thank a volunteer at the Attic for driving a car load of
kids’ winter clothes (jackets, hats, mittens, hoodies, etc.) to
Colebrook. There is a tremendous need for winter apparel in that
area. We were able to send what we had for the school-aged
children. We may be able to do another run in the winter. If you
have winter clothing you wish to contribute, just mark it Colebrook
and we will get it there.
Sadly, summer attire is in hibernation until next spring, but lovely
fall decorations are out, along with long sleeve shirts, etc. Don’t
forget to “look up” at the wonderful pictures on the walls. Brighten
your walls with some new-to-you artwork.
We are on Rte 28. 5 mi. north of the the Epsom Circle, Chichester.
Mon. 8-12; Tues. & Thurs. 8-4; Wed. 11-4 & Sat. 10-4. 247-7191.

Here’s hoping you had a great Labor Day weekend and found some time
to read.

10:30 a.m. to continue their work on the documentary project of
“living histories” of Chichester residents.
The Library Trustees will be meeting on Monday, September 14th at 3

official business of the Library. If residents have a question or
concern to pose to the Trustees, they are most welcome to attend.
Monday, September 14th will be the meeting of the Adult and Teen
Craft Group. This month’s activity (weaving a bread basket) had a
limited number of openings; but, call the Library to see about
anyone who may have cancelled. This group is, however, usually open
to interested residents.
