Happy Birthday to Sharon Wescomb on March 22 and to Sean Menard and Keith Davison, Sr. on March 26.

March 23 and 24 is Maple Weekend in New Hampshire. This is a time to visit a sugar house near you and find out how maple syrup and other maple products are made. You could also purchase maple products to take home and enjoy. There are several maple sugar operations in the area, so you won’t have far to travel. It’s a good family activity.

Save the date! On Thursday, April 18, Steve Taylor will be returning to Chichester to present a program on One Room Schools. The program begins at 7 p.m. in the Grange/Town Hall and is jointly sponsored by the Chichester Historical Society and the Chichester Heritage Commission through a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council. The program is free and open to all. There is ample parking and handicapped accessibility. Refreshments will be served following the program.

There Is A New Church In Chichester

A new church has popped up on Dover Road, in the Chichester Commons. According to the pastor, after much prayer and seeking the will of God, this past summer a few friends from a couple different towns began to meet together in a house in Epsom for Sunday worship.  After several months, they began looking for a rental space that would house the new church. Subsequently, vacancies were noticed at the Chichester Commons. Prayer about putting a church there was brought before the Lord. As the Lord would have it, there was a small store front that fit the needs of the church and so Berean Bible Church was planted.

The pastor of Berean Bible Church is Tim Kenny.  He has been married to Joy for the past 24 years and they have four children. He is a seminary trained minister through The Master’s Seminary of Sun Valley California. He and his family came to live in Chichester via Epsom where he was pastor for a short time at Epsom Bible Church. Prior to Epsom, Pastor Tim ministered in Arena, Wisconsin for seven years in an independent Bible church.

The Berean Bible Church is located in #3 on 114 Dover Road. It is an independent Bible Church that preaches the whole counsel of God through the preaching and teaching of the Bible. Sunday service is at 10:30 a.m.  If you don’t have a home church or you are first time church visitor, why don’t you pay them a visit some Sunday.
