Thanks to all who participated in “Trunk or Treating” on October 27
at Carpenter Park. There was a smaller crowd this year, and the
chilly temperatures called an early end to the festivities. Our
apologies to anyone who may have arrived after 6:15 and found an
empty park.
The Chichester Historical Society’s November 11th program is
“Reliving the 1950’s.” If you remember the good old days of the
1950’s, come and share your stories and memories of that era. If you
happen to have a toy or clothing item from the 1950’s, bring it
along for show and tell. A new exhibit area featuring 1950’s items
will be available for interactive viewing. Programs are free and
open to the public, with plenty of parking. The museum is located at
149 Main Street with the program starting at 7 p.m. Refreshments are
served after the program.
Happy Birthday on November 11 to Felicia Gelinas and Brooke Davison.

While you’re walking the trail at Carpenter Park be sure to look for
the fairy houses. Enter the parking lot and walk the trail on the
left and before you reach the bridge you will find 10 tiny houses.
They were built from natural materials: ferns, flowers, grasses,
bark, pinecones, nuts and more. You will be amazed at the
creativity you will see in these little homes. People are allowed to
make repairs on houses that need it. Feel free to keep them in good
repair for the fairies living at the park. The fairy building party
was hosted by the Chichester Town Library on Sat. Oct. 26th.
