Much of
the time, the shop is filled with smiles and laughter. Every
now and then, something very special really brings out a Big Huge
smile.
A young couple came in, looking for Little Golden books;
they were from Dover. They were looking for a particular
golden book for their baby. I asked how old the baby was, and
she said she was 5 months pregnant.
They wanted a book she
had as a child and had been to many thrift and antique stores
between Dover and us with no luck. We had the book! It
was from the 70s. They were delighted and so were we!
We
have a set of 12 cookbooks with recipes from around the world, a
Sesame street set of encyclopedias, and many children’s board books
that can’t be ripped. Don’t forget St. Patty’s Day. We
have several green tops, mugs and a couple of nice green bears.
We are located at 345 Suncook Valley Hwy, Chichester, Tues. and
Thurs. 8-4, Wed. 11-4 and Sat. 10-4. Come see what special
treasure you can find.
