The
Barnstead Historical Society will be holding their 3rd annual
Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 8th at the Barnstead Town Hall
from 9am-1pm. We are looking for crafters and vendors. If you are
interested in renting a table, please call Jeannie at 269-5441.
Christmas Tea For All Ladies At Center Barnstead Christian Church
Christmas is in the air and we would like to invite ladies to join
us for a time of peaceful reflection on the true meaning of
Christmas. Center Barnstead Christian Church will be hosting a
Christmas Tea on Saturday December 1st at 6pm. This will be a
time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ away from the hustle and
bustle of the holiday season.
Please
join us for delicious food, wonderful company, beautiful decorations
and a reverent reading of the Nativity Story. This is an event
planned with every adult lady in mind, so feel free to bring a
friend! We are the church located next door to the Town Hall
and we look forward to your being with us for this delightful
Christmas Tea.
Center
Barnstead Christian Church will also be hosting “All is Bright” a
Christmas show created and performed by students from the Word of
Life Bible Institute, the following Friday, December 7th at 7pm.
This show is for the whole family and is free! Join us at Prospect
Mountain High School for a night of festive worship as we sing your
favorite Christmas songs, tickle your funny bone and present the
true meaning of Christmas. For more information on these

Craft Buffet!
On
Thursday, November 29th we will be filling our meeting room with
crafting supplies so you can create holiday gifts! Join us for
crafting, snacks, and conversation from 5-8pm. Feel free to bring
along your own supplies to share as well. All ages are welcome to
attend.
Read
With Mack!
Need a
little practice reading or just love dogs? Register to read to Mack
our very special Reading Therapy Dog. Mack will be at the library on
Wednesday, December 5th from 3-4pm. Sessions will run for 15 minutes
per family. Come in to the library or call 269-3900 to sign up for a
session.

Barnstead Pack and Troop 43 would like to thank all those Barnstead
residents who contributed to our annual Scouting For Food Drive. We
collected over 500 items which were delivered to the Barnstead Food
Pantry.
Advent
Make and Take Family Event
Looking
for a new activity to get into the Christmas spirit? The
Congregational Church of North Barnstead is offering a Sunday
afternoon Advent Family Event on December 2nd.
Stop in
anytime from 1 pm to 3 pm. There will be craft stations to create
cards, an advent wreath, and other Christmas decorations. There will
be music, cider, and Christmas snacks and cookies. Everyone is
welcome!
The
Congregational Church of North Barnstead, UCC is located at 504
North Barnstead Road, in Ctr. Barnstead.
Worship
is every Sunday at 10 am with programming for children and youth
followed by coffee hour.

A Holiday Celebration
Prospect Mountain Chamber Singers offer Community Concerts, December
1st and 6th.
Prospect Mountain High School’s excellent chamber choir, directed by
Wesley Raines, will offer two community concerts to kick off the
holiday season, one in Alton and another in North Barnstead.
“A
Holiday Celebration” will feature the music of Alfred Burt, Stephen
Foster, and Russ Robinson.
Performances are on Saturday, December 1st at 7 PM at the Alton
Community Church at 20 Church St., and Thursday, December 6th at 7
PM at the Congregational Church of North Barnstead, UCC, at 504
North Barnstead Road.
No
admission: Donations are accepted at the door to support the
Prospect Mountain High School Music Program.
