Congratulations to Stephanie Richartz who just received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Granite State College.  She is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.8 GPA and was named to Dean’s List as well. She achieved her degree in 17 months while working full time and having a toddler at home.

Congratulations to Brian Greene of Center Barnstead, pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, who was named to the Becker College Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. The dean’s list recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades.

Oscar Foss Memorial Library News

Valentines for Veterans

The Oscar Foss Memorial Library is collecting valentines for veterans again this year. Come in any time before Valentine’s Day and make a card (or two!) to send as a way to show our appreciation to these brave soldiers. You can also drop off cards for us to deliver if you prefer to make them at home. Thank you for your support.

Loon Presentation

The Friends of the Oscar Foss Memorial Library are sponsoring a Loon Presentation at the library on Saturday, February 18th at 1:30pm. Registration is required for this free program. Please register online at oscarfoss.org or contact the library at 269-3900.

Library Closures

Winter has arrived! Unfortunately, so has inclement weather. On stormy days, be sure to check WMUR before braving the elements for a library visit. If weather does not interfere, we will also post a notice on our website and Facebook page in the event that we need to close for the day.

New Hours

Thanks to the feedback from our patrons and our community survey, Oscar Foss Memorial Library has new hours! We hope that our more consistent schedule and longer days will make it easier for everyone to use the library. Our new schedule will be Tuesday & Wednesday: 10am-6pm, Thursday & Friday: 12pm-8pm, Saturday: 10am-1pm, Sunday & Monday: closed. You can find the new hours on our website, or pick up a bookmark at the library.

Please call the library (269-3900) or visit our website (oscarfoss.org) for more information about any of our programs or events. There is always something happening at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library!
