Barnstead PTO Holiday Make And Take Craft Event

Unpack your ugly holiday sweaters and join the Barnstead PTO as they host a Holiday Make and Take Craft event at Barnstead Elementary School on December 12th from 10am-12pm. There will be crafts for children of all ages to make and take with them as decorations or to give as gifts. In addition to the crafting, there will also be several other great things happening at this event. Jennifer Hamel from ImaJenAtion Photography will be taking professional photos, the PTO will be raffling off several gift certificates and a gift basket of beautiful, handmade candles, and light refreshments will be sold.  They also have it on good authority that Santa himself might make an appearance for some photo opportunities.

The PTO is still looking for more crafters. Sign up to host a table or even co-host one with your child. Anyone interested should contact Jessica Webb at [email protected].

They would also like to help the school community that day by supporting the school’s initiative, End 68 Hours of Hunger, which is a program that provides food for students in need.  Please help them by bringing one of the following items to place in the drop-off bin: box or bag of nutritional cereal, plastic container of peanut butter or jelly, can of tuna or chicken, fruit cups, box of crackers, macaroni and cheese, Ramen noodles, or nutrition bars (Please make sure all donated items are within code).

Letter

Avery,

We miss you everyday.

December 10th will be four years without you. Time stands still in so many ways. Your little clothes are still in your dresser, your shampoo is still in the bathtub, your jackets still hang on the coatrack. The desk our friend gave you is still in the livingroom.

We know you’re not coming home, but we can’t let go of your things. It’s still sad to see the school bus stop at the end of the driveway and you’re not there.

I miss you so much.

Love,

Grammy

Letter

My little man,

Another long year without you, but sometimes a day can feel like a year without your happy smiling face and amazing sense of humor.

You are so, so badly missed that words can’t describe the way I feel without you here. The day you left me is a day that has changed my world forever.

I always think of how much you would have grown since that day. I know you were turning into a little man, but you will always by “my little man.”

It’s hard to think about you growing up, when you hardly had time to be a boy. I love and miss you so much. I think about all the times we had and the love we had for each other and how much more love I had left to give to you.

You are my little man who will always be in my heart and mind forever.

Love,

Your Daddy
