Phil & Elin
Henderson As Guest Speakers At CBCC
On Sunday,
June 23rd the Henderson family, missionaries with New Tribes Mission,
will be speaking at the Center Barnstead Christian Church. They have
served with NTM for the past 9 years in Mozambique, Africa and for the
past 8 years have lived among the Mwinika people group. They are a
resistant people group numbering around 200,000 and living on the coast
of the Indian Ocean. During this time they have been learning their
culture and language and working to translate the Word of God and teach
it to them in their language, as well as, teaching them to read and
write their own language which was prior to this time, unwritten.
They have
seen the hand of God move as His Word penetrates the darkness that has
blinded the Mwinika for years. God has done and is doing great things!
Come and hear what Phil has to share from God’s Word.
Sunday
School begins at 9:00 AM and Morning Worship follows at 10:00 AM. The
Center Barnstead Christian Church is located on Route 126, next to the
Town Hall. For more information, please call the church at 269-8831.
