Marriage: Bland To Grand!
Can
Marriage Really Move From Bland to Grand? Can Marriage Really Move From
Broken to Mended? Yes!! How do we know, because we have seen it happen
in many lives. Starting Sunday, September 19th Center Barnstead
Christian Church will be having a 12 week Biblical Study on Marriage. We
will answer the questions how can God, the creator of marriage help me
with the problems in my marriage? How can I move from Bland to Grand or
from Broken to Mended?
The
study will help you understand the roles and responsibilities of the
husband and wife. The study will also help you know how to handle the
biggest issues in marriage like money, sex, communication and relatives!
If you are looking for help or just want a refresher course this series
can help. It won’t make your marriage perfect, but it will become a
loving and problem solving partnership.
If you
are interested or need more information please call the church at
603-269-8831.

Notary and Justice of the Peace, reviews and notarizing documentation
submitted by Jessica Atkinson, and her son Trevor Lavigne who is
entering the 1st grade at BES this year.
Wed.,
Aug 25, the Barnstead Elementary School held a volunteer registration
event called RSVP, which stands for “Our School Volunteer Program”.
People interested in volunteering were asked to signup, have their
identification checked, signatures notarized, and then be fingerprinted
for a background check by Barnstead Police Department.
In a
brief guide that the school committee published, they list their Mission
and some other pertinent information. Here’s what the first page of
their guide says:
“Welcome to our new volunteer organization called R.S.V.P. This stands
for Our School Volunteer Program.
Our
Mission - The Barnstead Elementary School Volunteer Program will support
the efforts of professional staff and provide resources to enrich the
educational experience for students.
At
Barnstead Elementary we feel our volunteers are one of our greatest
assets. This organization is to help you work within the school system,
providing training, guidance, and information."
Kevin Thoroughgood and Jeff Rollins won the 2010 Old Home
Day Horseshoe Tournament. There were 13 teams and many spectators. A fun
time was had by all. A big “thanks” to Joe for the use of his pits.
