Center Barnstead Church To Host Jimmy DeYoung
Jimmy
DeYoung, the teacher and radio host of Prophecy Today which is heard
weekly on 91.1 WVNH, 91.7 WWPC & 88.5 WSEW, will be speaking at the
Center Barnstead Christian Church on Saturday, July 25th at 7:00 PM and
twice on Sunday, July 26th at 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM.
Dr.
Jimmy DeYoung has resided in Jerusalem for the last 17 years where he
held full credentials as a journalist in the second most populated
journalistic city in the world. Arriving there just 3 days prior to the
Gulf Crisis in 1991, he weathered 39 Scud attacks. Jimmy gave reports
nationwide on several networks during the Gulf Crisis. He has his finger
on the pulse of what is considered the media “hot spot” of our time, the
Middle East.
Today,
Jimmy travels the world proclaiming the good news of Christ’s gift of
eternal life and soon coming return for His Church, using the means of
media, radio, television, books, and the internet, as well as by
preaching in Churches and assemblies across the globe. At the same time
he continues to monitor the most current events as they unfold in the
Middle East and compares these current events to the prophetic truth of
God’s Word.
This
will be Jimmy’s only stop in New Hampshire, so come and join us as Jimmy
shares from God’s Word and gives us insights on how what is happening in
the Middle East may very well mean the near return of Jesus Christ. A
love offering will be taken for Jimmy.
The
Center Barnstead Christian Church is located on Route 126, next to the
Town Hall.
For more information, please contact the church at
269-8831. More information about Jimmy and his ministries may be found

Letter To
The Editor
I would like to respond to Ray O’Brien’s Letter To The
Editor urging everyone to call the police about barking dogs. I am glad
that you once again live in peace and quiet. I moved here just for such
peace and quiet. I would suggest, rather than call the police in these
cases, that we get to know our neighbors better so we can go to them
first. I know some neighbors may not be reasonable, but many are and do
not want to irritate or inconvenience their friends. I am saddened that
so many people think that a problem always needs to involve the police
or the town to use force to fix. I propose we use peaceful, cooperative
human interactions and persuasion rather than force.

the Fall of 2008, has helped to promote Republican principles and values
by engaging the local community. It offers an opportunity for the
